"NEW" NEWS!!!!!!!

Hi everyone! Happy 2010!

It has been a great year with my Florida touring schedule. I have had so many shows with such generous audiences. I have been overwhelmed by the positive energy of my team this year. While one my longtime music director/pianist Michelle Kasanofsky has been off playing a bunch of theatre gigs (yeah for Michelle), I have been working with a variety of musicians this year which has been a ton of fun and challenging as a singer/musician. I want to thank my 2009/2010 band members for their continued support, professionalism and musicality. They are the backbone of my existence. Thanks to my pianists who have helped me through this season - Richard Drexler, "Strech" Bruyn, Ken Crisp, and longtime arranger/music director Jim Rice. Kudos to my longtime rhythm section - bass player TJ Glowacki and Dave Rudolph. A HUGE welcome and thumbs up to new team members Phil Magallanes on bass and Joe Renda on drums. LOVE YOU GUYS! A huge thanks to my amazing husband/singer/guitarist Edward Loder - you are my everything and I love being onstage with you. I never thought in a million years I would be singing country. Speaking of country, what a thrill it is to join forces with The Bozeman Trio (Steve on guitar, Flo on bass, Keith on drums). I hope that we will spend many years singing country together. To my performer friends who have joined me onstagae this year: Franc D'Ambrosio, Dean Regan, 3 Swingin' Tenors, and Jimmy Mazz. Also a thanks to Dennis Hall, Boston Idol - Stephanie, and the incomparable Judy Alexander. To Will Page - a thanks for driving around with posters and telling anyone who will listen how they should come see our team. You are a gem! To those "behind the scenes" people on sound and lights - Richie Jasinski, Jim Jones, Frank Decarlo & Alex Suarez. A special thanks to Amanda Segur at The Cultural Center Theater for helping me with our 5 year celebration at her theatre. You are a tremendous talent. We have had a fun ride this year. To our new series at The Event & Conference Center in Punta Gorda - Jim Finch and Clare Riggs - you two are a joy to work with. An incredible thanks to The Chapmans (Mark, Eric, and Nancy) at Edge Online - you are an integral part of what we do in getting the word out and making us look polished and professional. To the usher and box office volunteers - your dedication is unsurpassed. It is an honor to be around such kind hearted and hard working people. To the patrons -without the continued patronage of the audience, I would not be doing what I love to do each and every day - MUCHAS GRACIAS to the audience. I am eternally grateful. Finally to my mother. I love you and can not thank you for always supporting my dream. You have been my guiding light and will be for many more years to come.

I wish each and every one of you the best during this difficult economic time. So many things happening in our world. We all just need to keep our faith and our chins up. Talk soon! -Valerie
